Allen’s experience in the education and public sector markets spans three decades. He has promoted leading edge transformational efforts in K-12 environments by creating partnerships between a highly skilled team of experienced educational experts and the largest, most diverse school districts in the country.

Allen’s team-based, customer focused, solutions-oriented efforts include adoption and implementation of the first web-based district portals for instructional technology; the development and implementation of the earliest curriculum management systems at both district and state departments of education, and, most recently, creating the model for assisting districts in transforming into integrated enterprise solutions for all aspects of teaching, learning, and assessment.

Allen has held executive positions at Pearson Education, Riverdeep, and Houghton Mifflin Harcourt as Senior Vice President of National Strategic Accounts closing over $1B in sales during the course of his career.
